This model out preformed the stock Classic Army Model right out of the box. The CA model was shooting 285FPS and the G608 was shooting +330FPS right out of the box. Heavy weight, almost 8lbs.  Adjustable Hop-up, Heavy duty ABS body. Features: Solid ABS body Side Fold Stock For CQB Working Charging Handle Stackable Hi-Cap Magazine Metal Flash Hider Lower front metal rail Specifications: Gearbox type: Type 3 Magazine capacity: 470 rounds Lenght: 1001mm Muzzle velocity: 330fps  w/.20  300fps w/.25g "manufacture rating". Accuracy: 120 feet Ammo: .20g or higher.......Do not use .12gram bb's with this rifle. Good...while it lasts January 9, 2009 Reviewer: Gabriel Venditti from san diego, CA United States   people say JG is as good or better than a TM or CA gun, which may be true for the first month or so. I chronod my gun and it was 385. After about 5,000 shots it was 365. After 10,000 it was 340. 15000 shots it was under 300. This has an ok rate of fire. In the description it says Ful metal gearbox but don't be fooled. I opened my gearbox (to replace he piston which striped after 15000 shots) and what i saw was 90% cheap plastic. Sure the gearbox shell is metal but as far as internals everything except the gears and cylander is cheap plastic. JG is great if your just getting into airsoft and don't know if your gonna stick with it but as a serious airsoft player i wouldnt have a JG as a main. Heres my ratings out of 5 External durability: 4 Reliability:2 Performance (out of the box):4 Performance (after 10,000 shots):2 Performance (after 20,00 shots):0 the piston strips after about 15,000 Overall this is a good backup or beginner gun. One of JG's best! July 1, 2008 Reviewer: Frank D. Alvarez from Lancaster, NH United States   I've owned mine for about a year (got it from a different place b/c I hadn't heard of LaRoy's at the time-wish I known) but it's a great AEG! Don't be fooled by it's size. It looks "small" but it outperforms larger AEGs like JG's M-16 (also not a bad gun). Plus, it's easier to maintain. The RIS rails are handy & quite useful. You can use rails from the Well R-8 if you need to. Looking for a great AEG that won't break your budget? Do yourself a favor & get this one! Was this review helpful to you?

jin gong g36 January 7, 2008 Reviewer: j dog from Rock Island, IL United States   I must say that this is definitely the best gun i have ever owned. I just got it yesterday and could tell by holding it that it will last a long time. A lot better than the Well R7 that I also own. With this gun I can Easily hit someone from 200+ ft. away. Laroys Airsoft has the best customer service than any other airsoft business. strongly suggest getting this gun! Was this review helpful to you?
